PetroGas Libya’s Flow Solutions business line, in partnership with Baker Hughes–Dresser, is setting a clear direction for 2026. The focus is practical and customer oriented: strengthening valve support in the market, expanding technical engagement with key operators, and building internal capability that supports consistent delivery readiness throughout the year.

As such our team perfromers planned priorities for 2026, covering market activity, customer engagement, internal development, and expected scope, subject to change during the year.

Market focus for 2026: Understanding demand and installed base

A key planned activity is a structured field market survey focused on Baker Hughes–Dresser product categories, specifically Masoneilan control valves and Consolidated safety valves. The objective is to map what is currently present in the market and improve visibility of customer requirements across different sites and operating companies.

We continuously work to update our portfolio of data for the Libya installed fleet and is part of our plans to further develop technical assistance capabilities to our clients. The surveys are intended to support more targeted customer support and clearer prioritisation of where technical engagement can add the most value.

Customer engagement: Targeted technical seminars

In 2026, our Flow Solutions team plans to deliver focused technical seminars for selected customers. These sessions are designed to introduce relevant Baker Hughes–Dresser solutions in a targeted way, matched to customer requirements and operating environments.Planned seminar themes include product demonstrations for technology such as positioners alongside safety valve focused sessions.

The aim is to strengthen technical understanding and provide more information for the correct selection process to be performed, including encouraging piolot where appropriate.

Internal capability building: Technical standards and sizing expertise

Alongside external engagement, the Flow solutions-dresser department led by business line manager Mr.Fawzi Ashahawi is prioritising internal development in 2026. This capability building supports more consistent technical alignment across customer discussions, application support, and solution recommendations.

2026 Scope and Operational Notes

The focus remains on delivery and execution, with redistribution of responsibilities as needed to support priorities and optamise the production capabilities of our customers.

Looking Ahead

Across 2026, PetroGas’ Flow Solutions business line aims to support customers through a combination of market insight, targeted technical engagement, and stronger internal technical readiness. With practical activity planned from early in the year, the department’s approach is built around reliability, technical clarity, and customer support that matches operational realities in the field.
